Hmong Village in Auburn, GA

Many of you have asked us about the Learning Center in Auburn, GA which God allowed us to operate for 19 months in 2001 and 2002.

We maintained a three room apartment (formerly a chicken house) as the learning center. There were 12 computer, TV, many books and videos, area for study and home work, etc.

We often served over 200 bowls of noodles a week, ice cream, hot dogs, and other food stuffs.

We helped kids with their home work, provided first aid, transportation, clothes, and a million hugs. And we told them about Jesus. We took 30 or so to church with us. Sometimes we had Sunday School Classes at the apartment on Sunday morning and again on Sunday afternoon.

We never got to bed before midnight and had visitors as early as 6:00 AM.

Our bedroom was a clothes closet and storage area. When we could find the bed, we slept in it. We had at least 50-80 kids every day and evening. There was a total of 200 kids that came from the apartments and other areas.

Those are times that we will never forget. There were times of joy and times of saddness. Things happened that we can never share and never forget. I wish we could go back there again.

These pictures don't really show that much, what it was a HOOT! Thank you Jesus!
