HIM Report-Myanmar Border

This is HIM Leader's report from Myanmar Border:

This is a report on our mission trip to the border between Thailand and Myanmar, "The Village of 9 Houses". We met with a group of Hmong people and they were very open, but they asked us not to take pictures of them for security reason.

They have been asking us to return as they wanted to know more about the True Living God. The population of this village is 200 people. They live a very primitive life. See attached photo. I told them that I will return to see them whenever they want.

Secondly, we stopped by a new Hmong Village, Ban Thevada in ChiangKham District, Phayao. We shared the Good News to this village and spent the night there. Mrs. Zong (see attached photo)came to saving faith in Jesus Christ this morning and several people were interested in the True Living God. We will go back to follow-up on several families there soon.

Please pray for the new believers and the people of those two villages that they will come to Christ soon. We
returned home safely at 5 PM today.

In Christ,

HIM Leader

Please continue to pray for HIM Leader and his wife as they take Christ to some very remote and dangerous areas of Northern Thailand.

HIM News-HIM Leader on the Myanmar Border

Pray for HIM Leader and his wife as they go to the Myanmar border:

To remind you all that we will be leaving Pua, Nan to the border between Thai and Myanmar this morning at 8 AM. It takes more than 6hrs from Pua to the last Hmong Village on the Myanmar border.

I pray that the Lord will protect us and that many people will hear
the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that more people will come to saving faith in Jesus.

Therefore, please pray for us and the people in that village.

In Christ,

Him Leader

HIM Leader Monthly Report

This is the October 2007 report from HIM Leader:

To report you with our job performances during Oct -07 as the following:

1. I taught and preached in Youth Camp in Ban Huai Leng, ViengKaeng District, Chiang Rai. There were 150 teenagers that participated in the camp. They have learned about Spiritual growth and God has touched many hearts through the Word. Many people repented of their sins and rededicated to the Lord

2. Shared the gospel to a new village Ban Thung Phuthana, Chiang Khong District, Chiang Rai. There were several people interested in the Gospel. We plan to go back for follow up with these prospects in November.

I also preached to a church group there. God touched many hearts, Several came asking for forgiveness and rededicated to the Lord. Also some were asking for baptism. This church group has not had a pastor for many years.

3. Routine Bible study and lead fellowship services in 5 villages

4. Bible study and Hmong literacy classes for 3 dorms

5. Coordinated closely with Northern Thai Baptist and Thailand Baptist Convention

6. Coordinated with Hmong Church Groups ( CMA, OMF, Christ of Christ(Independent, not the same as US) and maintain/build good relationship with Hmong leaders/religious leaders

7. Many Hmong church groups were asking for church revivals and Hmong education program and program for children.

Conclusion: The rice field is ripen, but a few workers. God is using us as a tool to reach the unreached people. Without your kindness and support, many Hmong won't be able to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God touched many hearts and souls just because of your faithful unconditional love.

Next month schedule:

We will coordinate with First Hmong Baptist Church of Kansas City, MO, lead by pastor Chue G. Herr and 12 team members. They will be here for Christmas church programs for churches and will share the Gospel to unbelievers in villages. They will arrive in Pua on December 20-07 till Jan 14-08. We will help them find transportation and lead them to remote areas. Please pray for us and the work we going to do.

In Christ,

HIM Leader
