Hmong Associates in Nan and Chiang Rai Provinces

Bangyat Her seated on the left and Xeng Lor on the right are H.I.M. associates. They work with Seng Herr.

Xeng is our Home Missionary responsible for Chiang Rai Province. Due to his citizenship status, he can only travel in Chiang Rai Province. During 2006, served to reach the Hmong animistic people of Northern Thailand in 12 villages and many more in prison in Chiang Rai City. He brought 20 people to Christ and many more are interested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Many more are waiting to be baptized.

Xeng has worked very hard to serve church members leading them in worship services, Bible studies, teaching songs, visiting/praying for the sick in hospitals/homes, and setting a good example for all the people. Please pray for Xeng.

Bangyat Saeher is our Home Missionary stationed in Nan Province. During 2006 he worked closely with the Thai Baptist Convention to carry the Gospel of Christ to the hilltribe groups of Northern Thailand. He served in many churches teaching the Bible, preaching, and holding revivals. God used Bangyat in sharing the word among the Hmong and Lua people. Three Lua people were saved and 5 Hmong. There were 16 people baptized.

Bangyat conducted a survey of Hmong Christan Churches and cell groups for the Northern Thai Baptist Convention and the Thai Baptist Convention to issue legal certification documents to churches interested in being a Baptist Church.

Please pray for these men as we expect great things from God in 2007. God has already blessed in so many ways since Seng Herr is back on the field. Bangyat and Xeng are encouraged as well as all the cell groups and churches. Praise God!
